Here I am going to write about Facts About Hypothyroid. One in 10 Indians suffers from thyroid issues most of the time with hypothyroidism that is 120 million Indians. Women are much more likely than men are developed thyroid issues. So if you are reading this it is your duty to know everything, there is to know about hypothyroidism. It might affect you or your relatives at some point in your life.

Hypo means less and thyroid is anything related to your thyroid gland. That is a gland present in your neck and responsible for producing two key hormones T3 and T4. The T3 and T4 regulate your metabolism anything that goes wrong with your thyroid line has a carry over to your metabolism. Your metabolism determines the speed with which your body works. So determines your body’s temperature. How fast you can use energy from food, your heartbeat, and most importantly how you can burn calories. It has a one-to-one relationship with your overall fitness levels. Because a lack of those thyroid hormones can lead to a slower metabolism which in the long term leads to weight gain.

And once you gain weight, it slows down your metabolism even more and it causes many long-term issues. Then you must know the Facts About Hypothyroid. So a lot of middle-aged women, in their 40s or 50s will gain a lot of weight suddenly. They struggle to lose weight. And it is actually a hormonal issue nothing to do with their food habits. But most of the time hypothyroidism goes undetected and that is why it is such big issue hypothyroidism. And the slower metabolism can lead to weight gain or struggle with losing weight, depression, changes in your mood, changes in your menstrual cycles, and a bunch of long-term issues. As well as long-term outcomes include heart disease, infertility, serious joint pain, and obesity. But those are long-term outcomes.

Process of Treatment According to Types of It

As I have always said any kind of lifestyle disease like thyroid can be cured by fixing your diet and fixing your exercise regime. But the point we noted here is that hypothyroidism is one of those rare lifestyle diseases. The correcting steps are of two types, one of which can be fixed by fixing your fitness and diet. But the other cannot be fixed so simply. So as much as dietitians and fitness influences will tell you that I will cure your hypothyroidism through your diet. That may not be the case every time. So let’s get into the science of it now.

Both cases of hypothyroidism have similar symptoms. So if you are seeing that you gain weight suddenly as you are struggling to lose weight or if you have a swelling in your neck. It is time to get yourself tested for these hypothyroidism issues then you need to think of what kind of hypothyroidism. And it is the first kind of hypothyroidism and is the most common cause. It can be fixed just through your diet. This thyroid problem happens because of a deficiency of iodine and a deficiency of iron in your diet.

Fix This Iodine Deficiency Hypothyroid

In order to fix this iodine deficiency, you need to include iodine-rich foods. So that is primarily seafood or seaweed if you are non-vegetarian. And if you are a vegetarian you can go for iodized salt that occurred that day. And as for the iron-rich foods if you are non-vegetarian, include a little bit of red meat once a week in your diet, and if you are a vegetarian go for beans and go for dry fruit. So iodine is an ion help with the production of T3 and T4 but there is a third factor called goitrogens and goitrogens are foods that affect the production of those two hormones in your thyroid gland .

These are the foods you want to avoid. This is a list of commonly found food items that you need to avoid in India. The common ones are cabbage, cauliflower mustard, greens, and broccoli. Avoid these soon. Now, these were the diet factors that you need to change, if you are someone dealing with hypothyroidism. Fixing Hypothyroid Due to Genetic Problem

Now let’s come to the second kind of hypothyroidism. In this case, you cannot fix it by just fixing your diet and your fitness regime. I am of the opinion that is possible you shouldn’t be putting medication inside your body and all kinds of lifestyle diseases can be fixed just by fixing your diet and exercise plan. But this is one of those rare instances where you need to turn to medicine and a doctor. The second kind of hypothyroidism involves your body producing antibodies against your thyroid gland. So this is a genetic issue.

Now if your mum supposed to like this kind of issue, it is likely that you might as well. In this situation, your body produces substances actually go and attack your thyroid line and prevent it from producing those P 3and P 4 hormones. In the process, you end up with hypothyroidism and your metabolism slows down and you get all those bad outcomes of having hypothyroidism.

So the solution to this problem to Facts About Hypothyroid, is that first go to visit your doctor regarding it. The doctor is going to prescribe a man-made form of the P for the hormone to you. So that is a synthetic drug but it will help you cure your thyroid problem. If you back it up with the correct diet and exercise plan and coming to exercise that always the main solution in long-term problems like this. Remember if you have a habit of exercising regularly it is very likely that you will not end up with hormonal issues like this. When you are older that is what exercise can do for you obviously. It can help you burn off fat but it also perpetually increases your metabolism.

You always have a fast metabolism. If you are dealing with thyroid issues take up an exercise regime that is my biggest advice to you. As a human being your main job is to keep your body active. If you do not move forward your body will move backward. If you are someone who has an active lifestyle throughout your life, you will not end up with thyroid problems, later in life, and even if you have higher problems. Currently, you can get rid of them completely by taking up an exercise regime along with a little help from medication.

Of course, my biggest advice to every single woman who is suffering from thyroid issues is that firstly again just like all hormonal problems.
